I've camped under the Botswana and Namibia stars, sipped tea with Morroccan nomads, trekked Zimbabwe's forgotten ruins and chased the Great Migration across Kenya's Masai Mara. Previous odysseys spanned Siberia's taiga, exploring Mongolia's by rail and skiing the Chilean Andes. When not travelling I call Kenya's Great Rift Valley home, lakeside at Naivasha where fish eagles and wildlife remind me of fragile ecosystems.
